Andres Landero is a colombian accordionist and singer of Cumbia and Vallenato. He was born in San Jacinto, Department of Bolivar, on February 4th, 1931 and died in Cartagena on March 1st, 2000. Andres grew up in a musical family and at a young age learned how to play the accordion. He traveled with vendors & performers from town to town to entertain and make some money in his teenage years. Over the years he composed over 400 songs in cumbia,vallenato,... He traveled all over Latin America and was especially popular in Mexico. ( From discogs.com )
