Kamancheh, is an Iranian bowed string instrument, used also in Armenian, Azerbaijani, Turkish, and Kurdish Music and related to the rebab, the historical ancestor of the kamancheh.It is also an essential part of folk music in "Lorestan". Lorestan is a province in west of Iran. Lori music is related to Laki, Kurdi, Bakhtiari and Mamasani. This recording is a rare recording which is done in 60's by a sewing company in "Lorestan" on Vinyl 45. The name of this sewing company is "Nasaji Khoram Abad" which does not exists anymore. Alireza Hoseinkhani is the kamancheh player and Heshmatollah Rashid is the singer. The Kamancheh which Hoseinkhani use is a special type of Kamancheh with 3 strings. Nowadays Kamancheh has 4 strings with the same tune as violin. The name of the song means "I Die for you".
