Ustaz Ibrahim al Kashif was the most popular Sudanese pop singer between the end of after world war II. His style developed out of Haqibah Music and he is known as the father of modern singing in Sudan. He playes Oud, Accordion,Goblet drum, Al mezmar ( kind of arabic flute ).Although Ibrahim al Kashif knew little knowledge of writing and reading, but he was able to write his songs and chooses his own lyrics, many of them achieved success.
