One of the early versions of old traditional famous folk song, 'House of the Rising Sun' from New Orleans. After the Leadbelly's recorded version in late 30's and Woody Guthrie's on 1941 it's the oldest recording of this song. This song was released on 1942 by Josh White (1914–1969), an American singer, guitarist, songwriter, actor and civil rights activist. He was working as a solo artist under the name of "Josh White & his Guitar".
